He holds the governmental “Pillar of Knowledge” of the Empire of Udenis on an invisible yet very short leash, maneuvering through proxies to advance his own agendas and avaricious interests.
The Grand Obsession: He is haunted by the search for a legendary Library or the “Sacred Archive,” which, according to his intelligence, remains untouched somewhere in the depths of Mangfold. For the sake of this goal, Cassian performed an act of defiance that would shatter the mind of any mortal king: he cast aside the weight of his crown and abandoned the warmth of his ancestral cradle, trading the glory of his lineage for the road’s dust and the spray of the great river that severs the South from the heart of the continents.
