Overview
🏛️ Strat. Value (Designations)
Functional roles of a fortification. Add these to the object properties:
- 👁️ Sentry: A watchtower or minor outpost. Minimal garrison. Its only purpose is observation and signaling the approach of a threat.
- 🔱 Spearhead: An aggressive forward base. Built for invasion, housing massive stables, weapon depots, and shock troops for expansionist campaigns.
- 📜 Registry: A bureaucratic hub. Here, the pen is as sharp as the sword. Used for license checks, toll collection, and cargo inspection.
- 🛡️ Vanguard: A border shield. The first line of defense positioned on the frontier to absorb the initial blow of an invasion and buy time for mobilization.
- 🏰 Redoubt: An inland bastion. A regional center of power located in the rear. It serves as a supply hub, a retreat for nobility, and a provincial administrative seat.
- ⛓️ Chokehold: A positional dominant. Controls a critical passage—a bridge, a mountain pass, or a narrow valley. It is physically impossible to bypass without a siege.
- 👑 Keystone: The dynastic heart. A capital or ancestral citadel. The loss of this site results in the immediate collapse of the entire regional or national power structure.
- 🌀 Enigma: A site of unknown or concealed purpose. Officially ignored or shrouded in myth. It may house forbidden research, ancient relics, or secrets that the Crown refuses to acknowledge.
